Hotel regulations

General terms

  1. Dogs over 12 weeks old that are healthy, vaccinated, socialized, and friendly are accepted at the hotel.
  2. The client must provide documents confirming the dog’s vaccinations. Only dogs vaccinated against rabies are accepted, and the vaccine must be valid for the entire duration of the stay at the hotel. A period must have elapsed on the day of the dog’s admission to the hotel to allow immunity against rabies to develop.
  3. Aggressive, sick, and abandoned dogs, as well as dogs in heat, are NOT ACCEPTED at the hotel.
  4. To inspect rooms and hotel premises, please visit us by appointment in advance, as on the day of dog drop-off, the client is not allowed into the hotel premises and internal hotel territory; they only accompany their dog to the reception. This procedure is established for the well-being of your dog, aiming to protect it from unnecessary stress, avoid the owner’s scent, and facilitate adaptation.

    Room reservation

  5. Advance room reservation is mandatory. Rooms are reserved through www.dogiday.lt by filling out the Reservation form.
  6. After receiving the Reservation Form, the hotel will contact you within 24 hours. In urgent cases, please call tel. +370-60-660-990.
  7. To change the arrival/departure dates after the reservation is confirmed, a 10€ reservation change fee will be charged.

    Stay

  8. The client must present and pick up the dog from the hotel at the time specified in the Reservation form.
8.1 If the puppy is not picked up on time, 4will be charged for each additional hour.
  9. Upon arrival, a temporary accommodation contract for the animal at the hotel is signed. Please note that this may take some time.
  10. The client, leaving a sick or older than 8 years old dog at the hotel, understands that stress and separation anxiety can exacerbate the animal‘s chronic illnesses or even lead to death, and makes no claims against the hotel.
  11. Each dog is allocated a separate room to prevent any contact with other dogs, except in cases where dogs are accustomed to being together (several dogs from the same client) and the client requests (in writing) that the hotel allocate one shared room for their dogs.
  12. The dog can be fed with food brought by the client or with hotel food.
  13. Hotel rooms are equipped with comfortable beds, toys, food and water bowls; for those who like to cuddle, we also offer blankets. However, your dog will always feel safer coming “with their own scents,” so you may bring something that will help them adapt to the changed environment at your discretion.
  14. If the dog damages the room during the stay (scratches the walls, damages the doors, etc.), the Client agrees to compensate the Hotel for the losses.

    Payment

  15. Payment for hotel services must be settled no later than 5 days before the start of the stay by bank transfer for the entire duration of the stay.
  16. Failure to pay on time gives the hotel the right to cancel the reservation without any notice.
  17. Cancellation of reservation after payment:
17.1. Money is refunded to the account within 5 days, minus a €30 administrative fee, if the reservation is canceled no later than 72 hours before the start of the stay.
17.2. Money is refunded to the account within 5 days, minus 50% of the payment, but not less than €30, if the reservation is canceled no later than 48 hours before the start of the stay.
17.3. No refund is provided if the reservation is canceled less than 48 hours before the start of the stay.
17.4. In all cases, when canceling a reservation, the payment can be credited to another stay within a 30-day period without an administrative fee.
  18. If the dog is brought later or picked up earlier than planned, no refund will be provided, and the payment will not be credited to future stays.
